Administration

The INFLEX® battery operated pump represents a major break through in pumping technology delivering many of the benefits of peristaltic style pumps but incorporating significant improvements in battery life, tube life and containment.

EASE OF USE

The pump includes a digital push button display for ease of programming. Using three primary screens, the user can quickly set the local time, the time when the pump is to commence dispensing and the dispense volume.

SECURITY

The digital display includes a security feature that prevents unauthorised users from changing the settings and thereby tampering with the dispensing operation.

CHANGE OF BATTERIES

The pump incorporates both an audible and a visual alarm that the batteries need changing. The process of changing the batteries is simple and convenient. Once the unit is mounted on the wall, unscrew the retaining plate allowing the battery compartment to be withdrawn and the four C-cell batteries to be replaced.

CHANGE OF PUMP HEAD

The pump head is a transparent sealed unit incorporating the tube and therefore performance of the pump and the tube is easily monitored. Replacement pump heads can be inserted and connected to delivery tubes in a matter of seconds.

ALARMS

There are two alarms:

1. Battery condition warning - the beeper will sound (at five second intervals) when the batteries require replacement. This is also indicated on the screen. NB - when the battery alarm is operating the pump does not perform it's daily dispense function.

2. Optional low chemical alarm - this alarm is designed to alert the fact that under normal operating conditions the chemical container requires replacement. The beeper will sound (at five second intervals) between the hours of 8 am and noon daily and the screen will indicate 'replace jug now' continuously. After replacement, the pump will require priming. This resets the alarm facility.

This alarm is preset at the factory and can be tailored to each customers needs.
